No. BirdieMatch is built for both single golfers and golf couples. Singles can join for dating or friendship, and couples can join for social events and double-date style meetups.
3. I’m new to golf — can I still join?
Yes. Many events are beginner-friendly, and we also host social formats where skill level is less important. You can also join to meet golfers who are open to helping new players learn.
4. What types of events will be available in Portland?
Typical events include 9-hole mixers, 18-hole mixers (where available), indoor & simulation golf nights, Topgolf-style meetups, group lessons, and occasional weekend travel events.
5. How do the 9-hole and 18-hole mixers work?
Mixers are designed to be fun, social, and low pressure. You’ll be grouped with compatible golfers, and we’ll include light icebreakers or game formats to make it easy to talk and connect.
